NEW EXPORTER - DULCIS DESIGNS

Dulcis Designs is a quality supplier of Australian made fragrant products including shower gels, body lotions, bath crystals and soaps. Having established a solid market presence in major international tourist areas in Australia, Dulcis Design started to investigate export opportunities in the USA.

Having established a relationship with a gift shop within a Zoo in Kentucky, Dulcis Designs were ready to make their first export sale, but didn’t know where to start. “How do I get the products there? What costs are involved? Who is responsible for insurance? What is the best way to package them?” These were all questions that were asked, and had to be answered prior to their first shipment.

Export Assist™ were able to answer all of these questions, and ensure Dulcis Designs were prepared to make their first export sale. An explanation of INCOTERMS, allowed Dulcis Designs to understand what their responsibilities where, and what costs would be incurred in their first export sale.
